Sixty8 Medical is continually developing innovative learning resources such as the Professional Learning User Simulation (PLUS) platform. This has been upgraded (2023) and is currently being trailed by several health authorities and University's. It is available for any NHS organisation seeking innovative scenario based education, staff CPD and a whole new teaching dynamic. The system can be fully customised by the owners with the freedom to create any scenario for their Multi discipline team

Fundamentals of Primary Care. This is In partnership with Class Publications. We have released Dermatology in 2020 which has now been included as a learning resource to several UK Ambulance Services. We are working on other titles such as Head & Neck (ENT) and Muscular-skeletal (MSK) and Paediatrics.

Parents guide to minor illness

This is web based application for schools. Parents are able to access quick and easy information from their schools website regarding minor illness and assessment of their child. Easy parent friendly information with an aim to "educate a parent educate a nation " philosophy and contributed to CQC outstanding award for the GP surgery.

AMBULANCE EQUIPMENT

Sixty8 Medical Ltd work in partnership with SKE Direct Sales Ltd to supply bespoke solutions of equipment bags to the emergency services. We specialise in evaluating existing designs with an incentive to improve on price and quality.

We are able to source and supply most of the bag products and generally offer substantial savings on price with lead times of 8-10 weeks too.

  • Now regularly supplying Paramedic rucksacks to Ambulance Trusts along with other designs of rescue, personal issue and drugs bags.
  • Continued service as a Paramedic gives me an excellent insight into improving these products with bespoke design alteration options available for customers.
  • SKE Direct Sales have direct access to various medical supply manufacturers around the world, all of which meet current UK CE standards.

My Clinical Background

I joined Bedfordshire & Hertfordshire Ambulance Service, which is now East of England Ambulance Service (EEAS) in 1993 working on the Patient Transport Service until I progressed to front line duties. Achieving my Paramedic Status in 1996 and then my Emergency Care Practitioner (ECP) Qualification in 2003.

I became the local ECP Clinical Lead for EEAS and was responsible for the implementation of the North and East Hertfordshire ECP teams as well as running several audited projects for the trust to promote effective use of the Ambulance service resources and reducing hospital admissions.

Previous joint trial for ECP grade clinician to work for Urgent Care Cambridge (UCC) (now Herts Urgent Care - HUC) which allowed me to develop my clinical experience as well promote the ECP role. I'm still very passionate about promoting Paramedics/ECP's/Nurse's and Physicians Associates within a variety of primary care environments.

First ECP trial clinic for the Village Surgery in Harpenden and assisting to achieve a CQC outstanding rating for care and educational promotion in paediatric health.
